isn't she just gorgeous? well we had another fun day today out on the town - meeting the voters - at the doctor's, the Calladine's, the hospital and the bank. Skye's now a whopping 6lb 12oz! just let us know if you'd like her publicist to send you a (short) movie through....
san antonio spurs beat the detroit pistons 81-74 to win the nba championship earlier on today john bought me a very nice lunch at melvins to pay off his gambling debts
busy day - me. phew! john's birthday. there's young people coming out of the woodwork. quiet day - spurs and pistons. they'll be busy tomorrow though. just for the record, I think the pistons might just squeak it. good day - park ji-sang. signed for man u from psv today. bad day - man u. left the stock exchange after 14 prosperous years. good night - that's me again.
....and you'll see Skye's little belly button - the last bit of her little umbilical cord fell off yesterday - dunno if she's an insie or an outsie yet though
1 God--you're my God! i can't get enough of you! i've worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts. 2 so here i am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. 3 in your generous love i am really living at last! my lips brim praises like fountains. 4 i bless you every time i take a breath; my arms wave like banners of praise to you. 5 i eat my fill of prime rib and gravy; i smack my lips. it's time to shout praises! 6 if i'm sleepless at midnight, i spend the hours in grateful reflection. 7 because you've always stood up for me, i'm free to run and play. 8 i hold on to you for dear life, and you hold me steady as a post. 9 those who are out to get me are marked for doom, marked for death, bound for hell. 10 they'll die violent deaths; jackals will tear them limb from limb. 11 but the king is glad in God; his true friends spread the joy, while small-minded gossips are gagged for good. psalm 63 the message like it
teasie just brought over a fantastic dinner for us! mmmm, tasty! we thank God for the amazing family we have among the believers here - over and over we've been cared for, cooked for, cuddled (skye in particular!) and covered in love and prayer like you wouldn't believe. amazing. reminds me of that bit where it says 'all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common....they pooled their resources so that each person's need was met....they followed a daily discipline of worship....followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. people in general liked what they saw. every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.' (from acts 2vs44-47 the message)
for little Skye today: her first day with no doctors and her first visit to church (we were late though) Kodjo was preaching - here he is with Skye earlier on
